If you have a course offering

paragraphs in length (what students would learn from the course,
why they should attend your course)

going to do in the time allotted to you

in your class are you using a digital or film camera? (we have
NO overnight processing available)
* instructor models request (FPP
uses "real people" as models - such as most of us encounter
in a day-to-day situation. Models are not paid, they give of
their time so that they can receive photographs from the class
demonstrations.
* at least 6-8 sample images of
your work - send us your BEST - hard copy (8x10 or smaller) preferred
as we will be reviewing it in a committee format. )
* listing of other places you have

Possible corporate sponsors who may be interested in participating
in the FPP Florida School of Photography.
Send this information to:

portrait of yourself.
About FPP instructor positions
and FPP School
We look for instructors who are very successful "at home"
as we are a non-profit organization with an extremely limited
budget for speaker honorariums. You've got to love sharing your
information with others.
* Our "target" market
for students is portrait and wedding photographers. We do get
some students from other specialties but our most of our courses
and our promotional efforts are geared towards P/W.
* Because our classes on held on
campus the Daytona Beach Community College; we must gather and
transport EVERYTHING we use. We will ask you to be extremely
conservative with your requests for equipment, props, AV, etc.
Please be prepared to be flexible if we cannot fulfill your precise
list.
* The FPP provides each instructor
with one class assistant and some classes will have one or two
assistants. If you would like to bring a personal assistant or
teaching assistant, all their travel and lodging expenses are
YOUR responsibility.
* Please don't ask the students
to bring lots of photo equipment - there is usually not enough
time for the students to work with models in addition to your
demonstrations (most models are in and out in an hour or two)
- and we would prefer that students pay attention your demonstrations.
We generally recommend that you limit students to 35mm cameras
or digital cameras to document posing and lighting setups - they
can then purchase your images in the "study set" (an
important fundraiser for the school).
* For Photoshop-type courses, students
bring their own computer equipment as we do not have access to
a "lab."
* For instructors teaching "advanced"
classes, know that we admit these students on an honor system
basis and you WILL get students of all levels attending (we wish
students would be more honest with themselves!). The FPP staff
does not have time to screen each student to verify that they
are in fact "advanced."
